She was pretty impressed with what she bagged (stock)
Jetting off on holiday might not immediately make you think of grocery shopping.
However, if self-catering is on the itinerary, a quick shop for essentials can prove economically beneficial. Kylie, who goes by englandandeverywhere on , often shares budget-friendly advice with followers.
In a new post, she showcased her haul from a Migros store in Marmaris, , and was thoroughly impressed by the savings.
She snagged breakfast and lunch items that lasted her about six days. Kylie acknowledged she made another trip just for beverages as she wasn’t able to carry them initially, but her purchases sustained her for most of the week.
In her video, Kylie said: “I spent 382L (£8.58). This here, five litres of water, cost me about £1. I bought two cherry juices – they were 7.50L each. So, I don’t know what that is, like 20p or something. I then got four mini Pepsis – these came to 74L for four of them.”

How expensive supermarket prices are at Migros in Marmaris Turkiye ???????????? These were breakfast & lunch snacks for 6* days (I did end up buying 3 more bottles of Pepsi and 4 more cherry juice cartons (£1.87 total), as I couldn’t carry everything on this shop, but everything else lasted me for 6 days!)
Additionally, she only spent 40p on a set of five apples and scored a pack of mini croissants for approximately £1.46. She even found a Turkish equivalent to Pot Noodle, setting her back a modest 33p.
Sesame seed crackers were a mere 22p, while flavoured tea was £1.80 – although Kylie confessed she splurged on this as a “treat”.
A small box of standard tea bags cost £1.01 but, for Kylie, a good cuppa was worth the extra investment, and she could always take home any leftovers.
Breaking it down, her daily snack spend was £1.80, with the total coming in under £10, which she thought was fantastic value. Many commenters agreed, sharing their own love for shopping at Migros while in Turkey.
One commenter said: “Hoping to find a Migros when I go next week. My older daughter, who’s not coming, wants me to buy snacks to bring home for her to try.”
Another wrote: “Only Migros or Bim when I’m there.” A third replied: “I love Migros cheese-filled pastries, milkshakes, fruit. I always shop in there during a holiday.”
