UK weather maps show heavy rain and snow are coming to the UK
Britain is likely to be almost completely covered by a as indicating that snow may be on the way.
Alarming maps from WXCharts show a 742- could be coming on October 10 bringing in wet and windy conditions across the country.
Areas from Inverness to Plymouth will be hit by heavy rain while some parts of Scotland turn white with snow.
However, not all areas of Scotland will get a with areas around Inverness and Fort William looking the most likely with up to 1cm of the white stuff forecast at 12pm on October 10.

The chances of the snow sticking may be slim as heavy rain is forecast across Britain.
Edinburgh, the Northeast, Cardiff and the South West all look forecast to see the biggest drenching with weather maps turning yellow and orange suggesting these areas could even see flooding.
Manchester, Birmingham and Newcastle will also receive a soaking. Whilst London and the Southeast of England look set to escape the worst of the wet and miserable conditions.
Those hoping that weather conditions will improve after this look set to be disappointed as the next day, October 11, low pressure from the Atlantic will arrive.

Scientist Emily Carlisle said: “September saw unsettled weather across the UK. The jet stream was south shifted for most of the month, making it very wet for some in the south, but rather dry for some in the north.
“The month began with heavy showers and thunderstorms to the south of the UK, whilst the north of the country saw much drier and warmer conditions.
“Although mid-month saw a return to more settled weather and an increase in temperatures, low pressure was never too far away and the end of the month concluded with frontal systems bringing heavy rain and thunderstorms, with an Amber National Severe Weather Warning being issued.”
