‘What Are You Babbling About?’ Jimmy Kimmel Spots Trump Going ‘Full Mental’ In Realtime

Jimmy Kimmel spotted a bizarre moment on the campaign trail for Donald Trump on Tuesday as the former president’s speech in Wisconsin took an unexpected turn.

“Trump is now the oldest nominee for president ever and it’s starting to show,” Kimmel said. “I’m not sure he even knows what he’s saying anymore. With all that’s going on ― missiles hitting Israel today ― this is what he was talking about in Wisconsin.”

Kimmel played a clip of Trump going on an extended riff about how R. Lee Ermey was cast in “Full Metal Jacket,” the 1987 Stanley Kubrick film:

“What are you babbling about?” Kimmel asked.

He offered a theory on why the former president was randomly speaking about “Full Metal Jacket” at a factory that makes metal cages and walls for computer systems.

“He heard the word ‘metal’ and he just went on a roll from there,” Kimmel said. “I don’t know about the jacket, but he is full mental for sure.”
