Princess Eugenie sends sweet message to Beatrice after pregnancy announcement

has taken to social media to congratulate her sister Princess Beatrice following her pregnancy announcement on Tuesday.

Eugenie, 34, fondly referred to her older sister as “Beabea” in the post, which featured never-before-seen pictures of the siblings last Christmas.

On social media, Eugenie – who is – said she was excited for her sister and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi to have “another little one” to join the family.

She wrote: “Congratulations Beabea.. So looking forward to more on this journey of motherhood together. And adding another little one to the gang. Xxxx.”

The post comes just hours after , which she said has brought her much happiness.

Sarah took to social media on Tuesday evening to praise her daughter, saying she is “very proud” of her as she prepares to welcome her second child.

The mum of two, who still lives with her ex-husband at also said that watching her daughters become mums had been one of her “greatest privileges”.

She wrote: “Darling Beatrice, words can’t quite express the joy and excitement I feel as you and Endo prepare to welcome another precious addition to your beautiful family. Becoming a granny again fills my heart with so much happiness and gratitude.

“Watching you grow as a mother has been one of the greatest privileges of my life, and now to see your family blossom further is an absolute blessing.
