Ballistic missiles showered down on Israel as Iran launched a retaliation attack for the assassination of longtime Hezbollah leader Hassan Nesrallah.
Sirens are blaring across warning residents to seek shelter as the missiles are prepared to reach within 12 minutes, per Axios.
It comes after CNN Military Analyst Lt General Mark Hertling U.S. Army (ret) Mark Hertling warned the Iron Dome could fail.
He said: “If you get good coordination between rockets which can be destroyed by the Iron Dome and ballistic missiles and drones, if they’re coordinated in the right way it could certainly overwhelm Israeli’s air defense and even the fighter jets working in the area.”
