Tipping Point fans were left scratching their heads on Monday when a contestant stumbled over a ‘tricky’ question.
In the recent episode, the audience met competitors Chloe, Mark, and Norma as host challenged them with a series of difficult questions.
Ben, 49 and also known for his role on This Morning, told the contestants during the episode: “We have two counters up for grabs in the penalty pot. I’m going to ask you all one more question, if you buzz and give me the correct answer, you put both of these counters into the machine.
“If you buzz and give me the wrong answer, you will be frozen out. Good luck to all of you, here comes your question… which typically round stone fruit is an anagram of the word ‘cheap’.”
Norma was quick off the mark with her response, confidently buzzing in with: “Pear!” However, Ben swiftly corrected her: “It’s not pear, no, it’s peach, Norma! I’m afraid we’ve got to freeze you out, Norma!”, reports .
