Phillip Schofield is returning to TV on Monday, September 30
Phil hits out at the public reaction
In the new series, Phillip says: “Shamed, disgraced who had an affair. But strangely, I think another TV presenter or two might have done exactly the same thing.”
“Difference is, heterosexual. It’s not an unusual thing in the gay world for there to be a difference in age groups. That’s not that unusual in the straight world, but if that had been the case with me and it had been a woman. Pat on the back. Well done mate.”
Phil vows to tell his side of the story
In the trailer that was released shortly after Phillip confirmed his return to TV, he vowed to tell his side of the story.
The short clip sees him say: “I know what I did was unwise, but is it really enough to absolutely destroy someone?”
He was then seen crying in the clip before the trailer came to a close.
