Met Office weather warning: Brits told to make emergency flood plans before new storm hits

The Met Office has issued another round of weather alerts this morning as heavy rain and flooding ravages the UK.

The forecaster urged people to check if their property “could be at risk of flooding” and if so told them to prepare a “flood plan and an emergency flood kit”.

A yellow warning for rain was issued from 12.30am until 8pm on Monday in areas in North West England, Wales and the West Midlands.

While, a yellow alert for rain was also issued on Monday between 8am and 3am on Tuesday for areas in the East Midlands, east of England and Yorkshire & Humber.
