has become a household name for many so it’s no wonder fans are curious to know all there is about the star’s life.
The 46-year-old, who now works as a co-presenter on ’s Morning Live with Helen Skelton and Michelle Ackerley, started off on Channel 4’s S4C before moving to the iconic Blue Peter in 2005.
He has since worked on a plethora of shows like ’s Young Musician Of The Year, The One Show, his self-titled series on Radio 5 and competed on .
Fast forward to today and while he spends a lot of time in London for work, Gethin now resides in Altrincham in Manchester after Morning Live moved to Salford.
He told The Times that he’s now a “frequent visitor to the Lake and Peak Districts” and enjoys driving a Bonneville motorbike, driving over the Snake Pass near Glossop before heading to the pub for dinner.

Regarding his love life, Gethin is fairly private so it isn’t known if he is currently in a relationship.
However, he’s previously dated a number of high profile stars over the years, including opera singer Katherine Jones who he dated for three years before getting engaged in 2011.
Unfortunately, their romance didn’t work out and it was revealed 10 months later that they had broken up.
He went on to briefly date Towie star Lucy Mecklenburgh in 2014 and then German model Katja Zwara who he was with for a year before splitting in 2018.
Gethin has also been most recently romantically linked to First Dates waitress Cici Coleman who he was seen out in London with last year.
Despite there not being a confirmed love in Gethin’s life, he does have a strong relationship with his family.

The presenter shares a special bond with his sister Mererid, previously talking about her to Yours Magazine in 2021.
He said: “My sister is my hero. She works for the NHS at a hospital and if you try to imagine the worst possible scenario – well she has seen it daily for the last year.
“She is always there for people and also there for when people pass away. She does everything with such grace and hard work.”
He also has a close connection with his 17-year-old nephew Alby who has autism and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
Alby was the inspiration behind Gethin and his best friend Sion Tudur, whose nephew also has autism, to set up the charity Nai which aims to raise awareness and money for people and children with autism.
