stepped in at the last minute, back in January 2020, to try to prevent “Megxit” – and an explosive debate unfolded about it on this morning.
Spiked Online’s deputy editor, Fraser Myers, blasted that his support for the former working royal couple showed his “questionable judgement”. It was revealed that the tense conversation took place “on the edge of some Africa-UK investment summit” – and Boris’ success was very limited.
” wasn’t returning apparently. he just couldn’t do it,” it was revealed this morning. Fraser Myers then swept in to ask: “No offence to , but why would you ask the Prime Minister to get involved in a family matter?”
He quipped that Boris “delivered but couldn’t stop Megxit”. Barely pausing, he then added: “I think any advice from Boris, about women in particular, should come with a health warning!”
He also stormed: “Another thing Boris said in his memoir is that Harry and Meghan are great assets to the UK, which I think shows his questionable judgement!”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced they were leaving the UK in 2020
They reportedly had a 20-minute chat on the fringes of the government’s UK-Africa Investment Summit, which took place in the Thames Docklands area.
However, just hours later, Harry went ahead with an emotional speech claiming he felt there was “no other option” but to stand down as a working royal.
He stated during the speech: “Our hope was to continue serving the Queen, the Commonwealth, and my military associations, but without public funding. Unfortunately, that wasn’t possible.
“I would step my family back from all I have ever known, to take a step forward into what I hope can be a more peaceful life.”
