Strictly Come Dancing’s Pete Wicks and Jowita Przystal have revealed their ‘secret code’ for communication during an appearance on Pete and Sam Thompson’s Staying Relevant podcast.
The duo, who appeared quite comfortable with each other on the podcast sofa, admitted to understanding each other’s thoughts just by exchanging glances.
This left Sam, Pete’s best friend, humorously denying his envy of their newfound connection. Prior to the live shows, Pete and Jowita were reportedly seen getting close at the National Television Awards, sparking ‘romance rumours’.
The pair further ignited these rumours on the podcast when Jowita, looking stunning in Pete’s yellow waistcoat, explained why she chose that particular outfit. “You know why I put it on first of all,” she said to the TOWIE star, before asking him what nickname he had given her.
Pete’s initial guess, “little pocket rocket”, was incorrect but was enough to make Sam display a hint of jealousy once again.

The pair, who have been stirring up romance rumours with their palpable chemistry on the Strictly spin-off show It Takes Two, opened up to host and former Strictly professional Janette Manrara about their partnership. Pete gushed: “I am absolutely loving it and I never thought I would be because I didn’t think this was really my thing. I’m not a dancer.”
Jowita then confirmed that Pete had affectionately called her his “little ray of sunshine” as she leaned her head on his shoulder. The Strictly professional dancer then told Sam, “We’ve got a code. Sometimes we don’t need to speak, we just look at each other and we know.”, reports .

He elaborated on his newfound passion, saying, “I don’t think I have rhythm. But what I am loving is the whole learning experience and the bit that is most exciting for me, in the rehearsal room with Jowita. It’s my favourite bit because I’m a bit geeky and I love to learn something that’s really and utterly new to me, it makes me really happy,” before adding, “And she makes me really happy every day.”
Despite their strong connection, the TOWIE celebrity couldn’t hide his disappointment when he and his dance partner scored a mere 17 points during Saturday’s live show, receiving only 5’s from judges Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke.
