has vowed to organise a meet and greet session with Luke Littler and the other stars of this year’s for a teenager who has been bullied at school. Cool Hand remains the No.1 ranked darts player in the world, having won the World Championship in 2024.
Alex McGarrie, as explained in a feature by the , has been pulled out of school by his parents because of the incessant bullying. They claim his autism has made him a target, with the bullies going “without any real consequences”.
It’s claimed the teen is an avid darts player and after seeing the article shared online, Humphries responded with: “I will speak to the PDC this week when in Cardiff and see if we can get him some tickets and a chance to meet all the players in Manchester if that suits? No one likes a bully, hope he’s ok and send him my best wishes [thumbs up emoji].”
Understandably, his gesture received plenty of warm responses. @MattSibson replied on X: “Class act. Total respect. That’s exactly how a world number 1 should be: An inspiration.”
@FloLovesSports added: “You are a fantastic player and a class act. keep it up luke, good things will come.”

The heartwarming move comes after months of torment experienced by Alex, with his dad, David, explaining: “We’re a little bit careful over what he does. We’d talked about schools and wanted to send him to a mainstream school as I know how important his education is.

“They stole his tie and threw it out of the bus window. They’ve poured water on him, poured glue on him. Every single day without fail he comes back and says something has happened. He’s got used to it and doesn’t tell anybody, he doesn’t trust the teachers as nothing happens. We had this thing where a teacher was supposed to check on him every day, that lasted about a week.”
He continued: “He ended up getting his mum to take him to school and he would get a different bus home that would drop him further away from home so that he could avoid the people doing it.”
The Premier League heads to Manchester for Night 10 on Thursday, April 10.
