Emmerdale has welcomed a new face to the Dales, Kammy, who is set to stir things up as the “resident bad boy”.
He made his debut in the episode aired on Tuesday (March 18), causing a stir by stealing a quad bike from Moira Dingle’s (Natalie J Robb) farm, which led to Ross being accused.
Kammy also caught the attention of Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill) when she found him struggling to start the stolen bike at the roadside. Sarah has been having a tough time recently following her break up with Jacob after his mother Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi) passed away.
She also experienced a false positive pregnancy test, confirmed by Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker). Katie Hill, who plays Sarah, has described Kammy as a “a really fun, bubbly, cheeky chap character but he’s got a soft side as well”.
Katie addded: I think the audience are really going to like him. I can’t wait to see where Sarah and Kammy go together and I think he’s going to be a really good character.”

She added that Kammy brings out Sarah’s Dingle side while Jacob grounds her, leaving viewers in suspense about what will happen next.
Actor Shebz Miah expressed his excitement joining as Kammy: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be joining the cast of . Everyone has been so welcoming and I already feel like a part of the family.”
She also hinted at a potential love triangle between her character, Kammy and Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant) saying: “Kammy is a bit of a bad boy and Jacob is a training doctor and way more sensible than what Kammy is so it’ll be interesting to see which way she’ll go but it’s been fun for me to dip in and out of both sides of Sarah.”, reports the Manchester Evening News.

Delving into his character, he added, “I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better job – the character is such an exciting one to play and Kammy will definitely ruffle a few feathers, but he does have the gift of the gab so although he causes a lot of mischief, I think it will be hard not to like him!”.
‘s producer Laura Shaw also spoke warmly about their latest addition: “We are delighted to be welcoming Shebz to as cheeky charmer Kammy. Charismatic, with a very playful spirit, but ultimately kind at heart, Yorkshire lad Kammy promises to bring both excitement and danger to the village.”
Before stepping into the spotlight, Shebz may be familiar to some viewers from his appearances in Casualty as Noor Din in 2024, and in Doctors portraying Reece Shaw in 2023.
