Donald Trump’s feelings clear as Tiger Woods starts dating former daughter-in-law

feelings on dating the US President’s former daughter-in-law. Vanessa Trump was married to Trump’s eldest son, Jr., for 13 years between 2005 and 2018.

Tiger’s relationship with Vanessa became public earlier this year after the two were linked with each other at the backend of 2024. The pair, according to People, are said to have bonded over their children’s love of golf, with the relationship still considered “very casual”.

Vanessa’s daughter, Kai, 17, and Tiger’s son, Charlie, 16, are both up-and-coming golfers, with a source telling the outlet: “Their kids are going places in golf and both very disciplined about the sport. They have that in common.”

There had been fears that the relationship might’ve caused some friction between Woods and the golf-loving president Trump, given Vanessa is the ex-partner of his son. However, as per the same article, Trump is believed to be “cool” with the two seeing each other.

Vanessa, who made her name as a model and an actress, has endured a very public love life and has often dated high-profile figures. A second source told People: “Vanessa has always gone for guys who are either well-known or have something big going for them.

Golf fans will be hoping the relationship doesn’t get in the way of Woods’ efforts to reunify golf, following the ongoing split between the PGA Tour and LIV Golf. Woods, along with PGA Tour commissioner Jay Monahan, met Trump at the White House earlier this year to discuss the issue.
