was left stumbling over his words after being told that his long-standing rival, , is one of the best-looking team principals in F1. boss Horner and chief Wolff have been at each other’s throats for years, with their tense relationship reaching boiling point during ‘s ill-fated title battle with in 2021.
Although Hamilton has spent the past three seasons trailing behind four-time world champion Verstappen, Wolff and Horner have continued trading insults in the public domain. The fact there is no love lost between the pair made a surreal interaction between Horner and F1 content creator Bella James that much more intriguing.
During a short interview which was posted to her page, James said to a suited and booted Horner: “A few years ago you said that young girls are getting into F1 because of the great-looking drivers. But did you ever consider that it’s because of the team principals? Because is… whoo! Do you not agree?”
Visibly flustered, Horner responded: “I’m not sure I… yeah I’m not… I’m not a member of the Toto Woof… Wolff fan club.”
F1 fans were quick to pick up on Horner losing his composure and the clip circulated widely on social media. His rollercoaster relationship with Wolff has taken a number of twists and turns, and there was another spike at the end of last season.

A feud between star Verstappen and ace was gathering pace, and Horner spoke out in defence of his driver by calling Russell ‘hysterical’. Wolff responded: “Why does he feel entitled to comment about my driver? Yapping little terrier. Always something to say.”
Horner later said back: “I love terriers, I think they are great dogs! I’ve had four. To be called a terrier, is that such a bad thing? They are not afraid to have a go at the bigger dogs.”

As part of his interview with James, Horner was also asked which driver is the best-looking on the grid. Rather than go for one of the current duo of Verstappen or Liam Lawson, the 51-year-old admitted that star Charles Leclerc had his daughter’s seal of approval.
“My daughter would love us to sign Charles Leclerc,” he admitted. “But they’ve all got charm.”
