The Maggie May hitmaker is currently performing a number of shows in Las Vegas where he recently celebrated his 200th concert. The 80-year-old took to on Monday (March 17) and made a huge announcement which had fans all saying the same thing. The legendary singer announced further dates have been added to his Las Vegas residency.

He penned: “Las Vegas! You wanted more, so here we go—I’ve added more shows! I’ll be back at @colosseumatcp this September and October, Can’t wait to see you all for another round of unforgettable nights. Public on-sale starts this Friday at 10AM PT. Rod’s legion of fans flocked to comment on the post as his 1.5 million followers all issued a similar plea.

One quizzed: “Would you consider coming back to Baltimore?” Another asked: “Ok, Sir. Now let’s talk about something super serious: when are you coming to Brazil?”

A third said: “Any chance you could add Portland Oregon to your tour?”

A fourth remarked: “What about Uk? When are you coming?”

Sir Rod has continue to announce further dates to his various upcoming shows with his North American tour kicking off in North Carolina in July but for now his loyal fans can see him perform at on the Las Vegas strip.

The Encore Shows’ feature his “biggest hits, plus surprises from the songbook, swing, as well as deep cuts, and stunning new production elements,” according to Live Nation.

They are being held at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

Meanwhile, Sir Rod has reason to celebrate as he becomes a grandad again.
