bosses may decide to end its £85m deal with and , but may keep a “vague hand” in working with them “in case they divorce”, it has been claimed. On a recent episode of The Rest Is Entertainment podcast, hosts Marina Hyde and Richard Osman discussed the Duchess of Sussex’s recent show, With Love, Meghan.
Even though there is no hint or suggestion of a split between Harry and Meghan, Marina said: “First of all, there’s not going to be a severing with . They’re not going to renew, but they might say we’re continuing to develop projects with them,” and referenced reports about the couple acquiring the rights to a bestselling novel with plans for a adaptation. MailOnline further reported Marina hinting that may be looking to “keep a vague hand” in projects with the Royal couple in case of a potential future split. She continued: “I have to say, and this is the reality, is that many people are hanging around in case of a divorce. The series, launched earlier this month, features Meghan, 43, sharing advice on cooking, gardening, and hosting with her A-list friends, including Mindy Kaling and Abigail Spencer. The show secured seventh place in ‘s UK Top 10. Furthermore, data from ‘s companion site Tudum showed that 12.6 million hours of the series were streamed, contrasting with the 97.7 million hours watched for the 2022 documentary Harry and Meghan within its first week.
This comes after Harry, 40, and Meghan were at the centre of scathing accusations in a January Vanity Fair article, which included several brutal claims.
Perhaps the most astounding claim was that a member of Meghan’s team had approached a publishing house to gauge interest in a potential tell-all book should the couple divorce.

The article clarified that the couple are not on the brink of divorce, but are rather deeply in love. An excerpt from the article reads: “Not a general book on life after marital dissolution, or one about Meghan’s past experience. (She was married to producer Trevor Engelson from 2011 to 2014.)”.
“This book-this notion of a book, really-might center on a post-Harry divorce. Not that there was actually one in the works! Just…if this a priori divorce ever came to be, would this publisher theoretically be interested in a book that took place in its aftermath?”
According to The Times, the Sussexes refuted all allegations in the article and expressed their distress over the whole incident.

An insider allegedly close to the couple commented on a report, remarking that Harry and Meghan can’t part ways since “their value is in being a couple”.
Speaking to Page Six, the source asserted: “Meghan and Harry know that they are tied together. Their value is in being a couple—even if they wanted to split, they couldn’t. And honestly, they are obsessed with each other.”
The Sussexes’ new venture is seen as a critical juncture, with Harry and Meghan having inked a hefty agreement with the streamer back in 2020. Despite the documentary ‘With Love, Meghan’ racking up millions of viewing hours, it has garnered a spectrum of reactions online, leading to purported worries amongst executives.
