could pay out another £100 bonus to customers this year as part of its Fairer Share payment scheme. The building society has made the payment to customers who qualify for the past two years, handing out £385million to 3.85million members in 2024, and £344million to 3.4million members the year before that, as per .

The scheme is typically announced paid out in June, and previously customers have needed to have a current account plus either qualifying savings or a by 31 March 2024, as per the outlet.
Most payments were then received between June 13 and 28 last year. MSE advises keeping accounts open until at least March 31.
It also recommends using your current account within the first three months of the year, but said for this step “what you’ll need to do to qualify depends on which current account you have”.

Those with a FlexAccount, FlexBasic, FlexDirect are advised to either pay in at least £500 in two of the first three months of 2025 and make two payments out of their accounts, or make 10 or more payments out of their accounts over this same time period.
