A new video showing appearing to almost faint has gone viral on social media. In the clip, posted on X on Friday, an unidentified soldier can be seen while on duty in London.
The video, which features , then shows the soldier, who is in full ceremonial uniform, almost losing his balance as he sways backwards and forward. Thankfully another guard next to him rushes to his rescue as he swiftly helps him regain his balance by putting his hand on his back. The second soldier then grabs the struggling guard’s arm as he leans forward, appearing to almost fall over.

Two of the other Irish guardsmen then rush to the scene to remove him from the line-up and hand him to yet another one of his colleagues, who takes him away to safety.
The video, captioned “Hope he’s okay” has been viewed almost 60,000 times on X. It is not known when it was actually filmed.
One user commented on the video: “Awe dear of him I hope he’s ok.”

The Irish Guards are one of the five regiments which make up the Foot Guards, who, combined with the Blues and Royals and the Life Guards, make up the Household Division and can be regularly seen on public duty and taking part in ceremonial events.
The soldiers participate in the Changing the Guard, or Guard Mounting, ceremony, which takes place four times a week: on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. They are known for their stoic stance when it comes to visitors.
