Kim Kardashian Reveals Surprising Truth About Second Engagement Ring

Some say diamonds are forever, but that’s not quite the case for one of Kim Kardashian’s engagement rings.

The Skims founder, who has been married three times, was reminiscing about her three engagement rings over the years on the latest episode of “The Kardashians.”

The “American Horror Story” actor homed in on her whirlwind 72-day marriage to her second husband, NBA player Kris Humphries, and the 18-carat ring she says he made her give up.

When the two split, they had a less-than-amicable divorce, and Kim’s emerald-cut engagement ring was caught in the legal crossfire.

“I didn’t keep that,” Kardashian said of the ring.

“I was pregnant with North, still married to him,” she explained. “And in order to divorce him, he said I had to give him the ring in my divorce. That I bought. He contributed a fifth.”

Kardashian’s first marriage was at age 19 to music producer Damon Thomas in 2000. The two divorced in 2004.

She later married Humphries in a highly publicized 2011 wedding, but they split shortly after.

Her longest marriage was to rapper Kanye West, from 2014 to 2022. The two share four children together.

Despite going through three divorces, Kardashian doesn’t seem entirely cynical about marriage and joked during the show, “I wonder what my next ring shape will be.”

In an interview with James Corden last year, Kardashian shared she doesn’t know if she’ll get remarried again ― but she isn’t totally shutting it down.

“There’ll be moods where I’m just like, ‘You know what? I understand my life is really big and I understand it takes a really, really, really special, unique person to want to deal with that,’” she said on Corden’s podcast. “I think my life is really fun and whoever comes in my life will have a really good time, but it’s a lot.”

“I’m not lonely, so I’m good,” Kardashian added. “I have my kids, I have work, I have my family, but it would be nice to share your life with someone.”
