When are the first games of the 2025 men’s March Madness tournament?
The first official games of the NCAA men’s basketball tournament start on Tuesday, March 18, and Wednesday, March 19, with the preliminary First Four round. Tipoff of the first game on March 18 between St. Francis (PA) and Alabama State is set for 6:40 p.m. ET.
