A man is facing jail time after flashing shoppers including two children in an Asda car park.Gheorghe Berceanu, 28, was caught on CCTV dropping his trousers and underpants, revealing his genitals and bottom to the public in Newcastle.

A court heard that Berceanu was also heard shouting “I want to f*** every woman who walks passed”.

Berceanu pleaded guilty to one count of exposure when he appeared in court. Prosecutor Lesley Burgess told Newcastle Magistrates’ Court that a woman had reported Berceanu’s behaviour to Asda security around 6.20pm on February 1 this year, reports.

She said: “CCTV cameras moved towards the male. His trousers were down, however, he then goes on to remove his underwear, revealing his bottom and genitals. There are a number of cars coming in and out the car park and people walking in and out of the store and there are two young children who are close by.”

The court also heard that Berceanu re-entered the Asda store and could be heard shouting his offensive statement. Adrian Ions, defending, stated that he would present “significant mitigation” at the sentencing hearing.

Postponing his hearing until April 22, District Judge Kate Meek declared: “Between now and then, you will need to speak to probation and have a report prepared by the probation service.”

Following this, Berceanu was granted bail and is scheduled to return to the same court next month.
