Danny Jones’ I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! co-star Melvin Odoom was grilled about the singer’s alleged “kiss” with Maura Higgins live on Good Morning Britain.
Melvin, who stepped in for entertainment editor Richard Arnold on Monday (March 17), joined GMB hosts and Richard Madeley to discuss the latest showbiz gossip.
Susanna kicked off the segment by saying: “Two of your campmates are front page news.” To which Melvin simply responded: “Yes.”
Susanna elaborated: “Married pop star Danny Jones, former Love Islander Maura Higgins. Caught on camera last week. This morning, Danny’s wife, this is according to The Sun, has moved out of her home with Danny Jones and is staying with friends.”, reports the Manchester Evening News.
The conversation took an uncomfortable turn as Susanna remarked: “I find it very awkward when these stories…”

Melvin cut in: “First of all, you guys don’t hold back. Straight in with the hard stories.”
Susanna replied: “Do you know what, it’s on the front of The Sun this morning and this has been developing over the last couple of days. It’s obviously a private matter for them. You were in the jungle with Danny and Maura.”
Melvin candidly remarked: “The things is we’ve all got a WhatsApp group, we all got on in the jungle. The other day was Danny’s birthday and we all wished him a happy birthday.

“In regards to this story it’s not my business and that’s it. Thats all I’ll say on that. I got on with everyone in there and I wish them all the best.” The conversation was swiftly redirected by Susanna.
The Sun has reported that Danny’s wife Georgia has vacated their family abode following his alleged “kiss” with Maura, opting to stay with a friend. An insider revealed: “They’re not together and she is working out what she wants to do.”
