Chelsea player ratings vs Arsenal (4-2-3-1)
Robert Sanchez: 3
Another wild performance from the Spaniard. Inexplicably punched the ball away instead of catching it after Marc Cucurella had almost given away a penalty early on. Was lucky to survive unscathed after giving the ball away to Gabriel Martinelli and then flapped at a cross from Jurrien Timber to gift a chance to Leandro Trossard. Was nearly dispossessed by Martinelli later on. Another afternoon to forget.
Wesley Fofana: 5
Annoyed Declan Rice with a heavy challenge in the first half, with VAR checking the incident to see if the defender had stepped on the midfielder. Was nothing in it though. Then clashed with Trossard moments later.
Levi Colwill: 6
Lunged at Trossard midway through the first half and was booked as the encounter started to get feisty. Clearly has a big future at the club but was let down by some of his team-mates.
Benoit Badiashile: 3
Was exposed at the centre of defence and the attackers had a field day with him. Isn’t the answer to any defensive frailties may have.
Marc Cucurella: 5
Lost his balance and fell inside the penalty area early into the match as his . But didn’t give away a spot kick as it wasn’t a ‘deliberate action’. Volleyed the ball at David Raya with ’s best chance of the first half but his effort was kept out.

Reece James: 5
Was given the opportunity to play further forward in midfield but was invisible for much of the game. Wasted an early free-kick as he put too much on it and missed his team-mates. Blues boss Maresca may get more out of him at right-back.
Moises Caicedo: 4
Was lucky to escape without a yellow card after a few robust challenges on Odegaard early on. Started the season really well but has gone off the boil since Christmas.
Jadon Sancho: 3
Was unable to get at Myles Lewis-Skelly and whip the ball into the box. Hasn’t contributed anywhere near enough goals or assists for the Blues and may not even be at Stamford Bridge next season, despite the fact are obligated to buy him .
Enzo Fernandez: 5
Always puts a shift in but often fails to live up to his £107million transfer fee. Would have benefitted from playing a bit deeper as he lacks the creativity to excel in the final third.
Don’t miss… [QUOTES] [EXCLUSIVE]
Christopher Nkunku: 3
Offered nowhere near enough for his team as he failed to test the defence. Will score goals if he gets into the right positions but didn’t show his goalscoring instincts in this one.
: 6
Has bags of pace and always worries the opposition when he has the ball. But was starved of service and couldn’t make anything happen.
