And they will be disappointed to know the same thing has happened this weekend. That’s because the Men’s game between France and Scotland is airing tonight (March 15), pushing Britain’s Got Talent from its regular slot at 7pm on ITV.
Coverage of the rugby match kicks off at 7:15pm and runs until 10.35pm, resulting in the hit quiz show The 1% Club also being axed for the week. During the first episode, viewers watched in disbelief as professional nudist performer Akira pushed ITV’s censorship boundaries with his daring naked act and sword swallower Auzzy Blood “disturbed” them with an extreme and graphic performance.
681 complaints were made in relation to Auzzy Blood’s performance and an additional 90 for Akira. Despite the backlash, both acts advanced to the next round.
Auzzy’s act featured the performer hoisting himself above the stage using a chain attached to a meat hook piercing both his nose and mouth. He also pushed giant screws up his nostrils, .
One wrote online: “AUZZY BLOOD on BGT was disgusting, not entertainment, pre watershed and a terrible example to children watching a supposed family show.”

Meanwhile, Japanese star Akira used just a tray to protect his modesty as he performed completely naked on stage. The show was met with a second round of complaints after just two weeks, with 57 more viewers raising issues with the broadcasting regulator.
An Ofcom representative confirmed: “The vast majority of complaints were about Auzzy Blood’s routine. These are additional complaints to those reported last week, and the cumulative total 828.”
