The thrilling climax of the 2025 Six Nations is fast approaching. With Ireland, England, and France still vying for the championship title, the final showdown on Saturday, March 15 promises to be a nail-biter.
Ireland’s hopes of securing the Six Nations trophy for an unprecedented third consecutive year have been significantly dented following their defeat to France in the fourth round. The French team now stand as the frontrunners for the championship, requiring a bonus-point victory against Scotland on home turf to clinch it.
England, currently sitting in second place with 15 points after triumphs over France, Italy, and Scotland, face the daunting challenge of squaring off against a revitalised Welsh side in Cardiff.
Wales, under the guidance of Matt Sherratt, are eager to claim their first Test match victory since October 2023 and will be raring to go against their long-standing rivals on Saturday evening.
Italy, meanwhile, are striving to dodge another Wooden Spoon and secure fifth place, although they have a tough battle ahead against Ireland in Rome. Scotland, on the other hand, find themselves in a middling position, with a fourth-place finish looking increasingly likely.
