and Prince William are set for some family rivalry today as their favourite rugby teams compete against one another at the Wales vs England Six Nations match. The couple, who have been married since 2011, have as a result of their patronages, with , 42, being patron of the Welsh Rugby Union while Kate, 43, is patron of the English Rugby Football Union.
, host Jo Elvin joked that the family “may need a referee in house” for the game. It was also said on the podcast that the couple’s children – Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, nine, and Prince Louis, six – may be split on whether to cheer in support of their father or their mother’s favoured team. The Prince and Princess of Wales have not confirmed which teams their children support.

However, when appearing on Mike Tindall’s podcast The Good, The Bad and The Rugby with his co-hosts, James Haskell and Alex Payne, William did joke that the question of which team the children will support has become “quite the thing” behind closed doors.
He said good naturedly: “It’s become quite the thing in the house.
“[Catherine] is quite into it. I’m trying to stay out of it.”
While their three children are expected to watch the game at their Windsor home today, Kensington Palace confirmed that the Prince and Princess of Wales will attend the Principality Stadium in Cardiff to watch the match in person.

Before the match, William and Kate will meet injured players supported by the Welsh Rugby Charitable Trust inside the Sir Tasker Watkins Suite – a space at the Stadium dedicated to the use of injured players and their families ahead of matches.
The match will kick off at 4.45pm this afternoon.
