Netflix viewers are hooked on a thriller featuring an all-star cast, including a former James Bond actor, that delivers an ‘insane twist’ ending and keeps fans on edge.
Just Cause is currently one of the most-watched titles among UK subscribers on the streaming platform.
At the time of writing, it holds the number nine spot, ahead of recently added title Spider-Man Across the Spider-verse, despite being released three decades ago in 1995.
The film boasts an impressive cast list which includes the late , known for his iconic role as the British secret agent with the codename 007.
He is joined by Laurence Fisburne, Ed Harris and Blair Underwood.

It is based on the novel of the same name by John Katzenbach, Johannsson is reportedly working on an updated adaptation of the book, set to be a series on Amazon Prime featuring a female version of the protagonist, reports .
In Just Cause, Connery plays Paul Armstrong, a Harvard professor and former lawyer opposed to capital punishment. He is persuaded by a woman to travel to Florida and help her grandson Bobby (Underwood), who has been convicted for murder and faces the death penalty.

He claims innocence and alleges he was tortured by police officers into confessing to crimes he did not commit.
Despite a tepid reception from critics at its initial cinema outing, the film is now taking by storm. Audiences are championing it, challenging its meagre 26% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, with an outpouring of online kudos.
One viewer enthused: “I absolutely love Sir in just about any movie where he’s the lead actor. This is a star studded cast and has a great plot twist that you definitely don’t see coming.”
They continued: “I’m not sure why there were ANY bad reviews on this movie, it’s definitely one I’d watch again.”
