Sharing some of his top tips for keeping a garden looking fresh in changing seasons, David shared: “The lawn is the first thing. The first spring cut to freshen up the garden is a good start.

Plant some seeds
David added that now is the perfect time to start planting seeds, explaining: “There’s a lot of people sowing seeds now. We’re just waiting for the frost to finish but sowing seeds on kitchen windowsills, such as tomatoes or chillies to get them germinated and ready to grow is a very good start.”
Refreshing plants in containers
A third tip that David shared was brightening up your flower pots. The gardening expert advised: “Another focus is plants in containers. At the end of the winter, refreshing containers with early spring flowering plants.
“Things like daffodils and tulips, but also things like winter flowering pansies and violas can really brighten up the front of the house. So, replanting containers for spring colour.”
