Of the trio, who are all set to become free agents at the end of the season as it stands, Alexander-Arnold appears to be the likeliest candidate to depart. The international has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid, who have become experts in acquiring the services of the very best free agents – like Kylian Mbappe most recently.
If Alexander-Arnold does depart, a right-back is expected to be at the top of ’s shopping list over the summer. Conor Bradley remains a replacement option with a big future on Merseyside, but Slot may have his heart set on bringing in Frimpong if a vacancy emerges.

The Reds could find themselves needing three key players replaced if their worst-case scenario unfolds and therefore such a significant outlay on Frimpong could prove too pricey given that Bradley has shown that he is capable of playing in Slot’s system.
