Opting for the high offer, Joe correctly answered several questions, leading to suggestions that he could make history by taking through the highest amount ever on the show.
With just one correct answer needed, Bradley was on the edge of his seat as Joe faced a question about hedgehogs: “Which of a hedgehog’s senses is very poor?”
With options ‘Sight’, ‘Hearing’ and ‘Smell’ on the table, Joe guessed sight might be the weak sense. Before the big reveal, an encouraging Bradley quipped: “I wish you luck. You’re gonna make history here, mate. If you go though you’re making history.”
The host added: “We’re gonna go viral. I better stand next to you if you’re gonna go through! Come on, good luck.”

The tension broke when “sight” was confirmed as the correct answer, prompting Joe to leap for joy as the audience erupted in cheers. A celebratory hug with Bradley followed as he exclaimed: “Absolutely brilliant!”.
Joe took the team’s overall total to an eye-watering £213,000, meaning there was all to play for in the final chase. But it was only three stars taking on Paul after Lucrezia was knocked out of the game.
Despite answering 18 questions correctly, the team was unfortunately caught by the chaser with 28 seconds remaining, resulting in the devastating loss of their prize fund. Nevertheless, they were consoled with the knowledge that £1,000 would still go to each of their chosen charities.
