Emmerdale’s Steph Milligan, played by Georgia Jay, is set to make a daring move after uncovering a shocking family secret.
In recent episodes of the ITV soap, Steph discovered the truth about her mother Ruby Fox-Milligan’s (Beth Cordingly) abusive past and that her grandfather Anthony (Nicholas Day) is actually her biological father.
This week’s spoilers reveal that Steph remains missing, causing great worry for Ruby and (William Ash). Ruby, however, has an idea of where she might be and heads to Anthony’s burial spot in the woods.
She assures Steph they will navigate this trauma together, but Steph has other plans and gathers those involved in the conspiracy.
Meanwhile, Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) grows suspicious of Caleb and Steph’s lack of effort at the depot and is determined to expose Caleb’s secrets.

When a mere mention of Anthony unsettles Caleb, Jai becomes certain he’s onto something. Fans will recall that Anthony was murdered by his daughter Ruby earlier this year.
Following the incident, Ruby, Caleb, John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth), Cain (Jeff Hordley), Chas (Lucy Pargeter) and Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) decided to conceal the truth not only for their own sake but also for Steph, who was unaware at the time that her grandfather is actually her father, reports Leeds Live.
Steph’s persistent questioning about Anthony’s fate had been driving Caleb and Ruby to distraction, yet they continued to deceive her, assuring her that her absent grandfather is well and simply does not wish to be contacted.
airs weeknights on ITV1 at 7.30pm and available to stream from 7am on ITVX
