The comedian, who sat down Friday with “The Breakfast Club” in New York City, noted that Musk has “Sieg Heiled twice” in public but somehow “still has a job.”
Musk twice made a gesture that many interpreted as a Nazi salute at a celebration for President Donald Trump after his inauguration. He then made light of the resulting criticism on social media, and told podcaster Joe Rogan the backlash was “coordinated propaganda.”
“What I don’t get is the amount of veterans, people in the armed services, that died trying to stop Hitler, and then this guy comes in, you know, and does that — while being an immigrant, too,” Burr said Friday. “The whole thing, none of it tracks, how you can be, ‘Support the troops,’ ‘America, love it or leave it,’ and then this guy comes in and gives a shoutout to Hitler.”
Musk spent a fortune to help reelect Trump, who then made the tech billionaire a “special government employee.” Musk is now leading the so-called Department of Government Efficiency, which is dismantling federal agencies under the purported aim of slashing wasteful public spending.
Last month, Musk ordered thousands of government employees to explain “what they got done last week” within 48 hours or be fired. Earlier this week, the SpaceX and Tesla CEO, whose companies have secured billions in federal funds, had Trump parade his cars at the White House.

“I don’t understand those guys, and this isn’t politically,” said Burr. “I don’t understand why they’re so upset with this country. You’re billionaires, I think it’s working for you. Why are you going and telling everybody, ‘Justify what you do!’ It’s like, fucking justify what you do — that piece of shit car that the government financed!”

Burr has been on an anti-Musk tear lately, torching him as an “idiot” with “dyed hair plugs and a laminated face” earlier this week. But Burr isn’t happy with Democrats and their feckless opposition, either.
“I’m not trashing Republicans,” said Burr on the Friday radio show. “All Republicans did not Sieg Heil. That guy did, and I was just amazed that all liberals had was one day of outrage. Then they’re like, ‘Oh, I guess that didn’t work.’ And I guess we just kind of move on.”
