Netflix’s new crime drama mini-series, Adolescence, has been causing quite a stir since its premiere on Thursday, March 13. The show has already scored a perfect 100% on Rotten Tomatoes based on critic reviews, and viewers at home have been equally impressed.
The gripping series follows the story of a family whose world is turned upside down when their 13 year old son, Jamie Miller, is arrested for the murder of a schoolmate, forcing them to face “every parent’s worst nightmare,” as per the synopsis.
Viewers have been captivated by the unique filming style of the show. One viewer took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to express their admiration: “Just watching #adolesence on , holy f–k! Some child actors emerging from this series. Stephen Graham is outstanding and Owen Cooper, just wow! He’s going to go far as an actor. Totally couldn’t stop watching. Best series I’ve watched in a long time.” (sic)
