Even switching all the light bulbs in your home into energy-efficient light bulbs can make a difference to energy bills.
Kudzai said: “LED and CFL light bulbs are great energy-efficient alternatives to traditional lights.”
This is because LED and CFL bulbs last “significantly longer than regular light bulbs” and use less energy to light a room.
“Replacing all lightbulbs in your home could save you around £40 a year,” said Kudzai.
By making small tweaks, you could save around £75 per year – but there’s more!
Energy Saving Trust suggests reducing the room temperature by just one degree can cut heating bills by up to £75; now you could be paying £150 less than you otherwise would.
Kudzai added: “Ultimately, the best way to reduce your energy bills ahead of the April Price Cap increase is to secure the best home energy tariff that meets all your needs.
