Cate Blanchett got married a little under 30 years ago ― but she’s missing a few mementos from her big day.

The “Black Bag” star stopped by “The Drew Barrymore Show” on Friday and told the host all about her wedding day ― and why she only has a single photo from her nuptials.

“When we got married, we had absolutely no money,” Blanchett said of her wedding to husband Andrew Upton, which took place 27 years ago. “We couldn’t have a photographer, and we had two friends who were photographers.”

But as it turns out, the two friends had a little too much fun and didn’t quite fulfill their photographer duties.

“One guy got so drunk he forgot to load film in the camera,” she said, laughing. “And the other one had such a good time that he didn’t take any pictures. And, as a result, we have one picture of our wedding. That’s all we have.”

The single wedding photo isn’t even a particularly good photo, said the Oscar winner, who described it as a “blurry picture of the two of us getting in the car.”

Luckily, the actor was able to put a positive spin on everything. Because there are no photos, Blanchett said, she “really remembers the night as a result.”

“I was so sad and so upset, and I wept at the time that we didn’t have any pictures,” she told Barrymore. “But in the end, I’m kind of quite pleased that I don’t have any pictures because I then constantly try and recall the evening.”

Blanchett and Upton tied the knot in 1997 and have four children: Dashiell, Roman, Ignatius and Edith.

The actor has shared her parenting philosophy before and said she isn’t afraid to discipline her children ― even if she doesn’t necessarily want to.

“I don’t enjoy being the bad cop, but sometimes I have to be,” the actor told the Daily Mirror back in 2011.

“My husband and I worry about our generation trying to be friends with their children rather than parents of their children,” she added. “If you’re going to try and make your children like you, you’re in dangerous waters, I think.”
