Alec And Hilaria Baldwin’s Super Awkward Interview Exchange Raises Eyebrows

Alec and Hilaria Baldwin had such an awkward exchange during an interview that people wondered if they’re creating some storylines for their reality show’s next season.

The couple, who are currently showcasing their family of nine on their controversial TLC reality show “The Baldwins,” spoke to Extra at the opening of Planet Hollywood NYC on Tuesday.

The exchange started with an “Extra” reporter asking if there would be a second season of the show and Hilaria beginning to reply.

“The Hilaria Show,” Alec cut in, prompting his wife to shake her head and say “No.”

He continued to interject until his wife suddenly shut him down.

“OMG! When I’m talking, you’re not talking,” she said, prompting her husband to look down and say, “I’m sorry.”

“No, when I’m talking, you’re not talking,” she repeated.

Hilaria then tried to block Alec out of the frame as she stared into the camera and said, “This is why we’ll just have to cut him out of the show.”

Alec didn’t appear to take the comment well and moved slightly away from both his wife and the interviewer.

The “30 Rock” star did eventually return, and the two shared some banter before Hilaria complained that her husband was “distracting” her while he praised her beauty.

“Why? Why are you distracting me?” she said with a tight smile before taking things one step further and telling him, “Stop!”

“Stop! You’re annoying me. Stop! It’s not cute,” she added.

“I’m gonna, like, walk out of this interview right now,” she warned.

“Lol, I think he’s just over her complete rudeness and lack of respect,” another person added.

The Baldwins have made headlines in the last few months for launching a reality show amid a lawsuit from cinematographer Halyna Hutchins’ family.

Hutchins was killed in 2021 during the production of “Rust,” a film in which Baldwin was starring, when a revolver he was holding discharged. Director Joel Souza was also injured at the time.
