Packing for a trip was always my least favorite activity. As if finding the right clothes, shoes and accessories wasn’t enough, I needed three to four travel organizers for all my essentials. Makeup, skincare, toiletries and feminine products would live in separate bags, leaving limited space in my suitcase.
Forcing everything to fit into my luggage became an extreme sport, and I was no longer up for the challenge. So when I came across 4kits’ hanging roll-up makeup bag and toiletry kit on Amazon, I knew they might be onto something.
The foldable travel organizer has four compartments with a zip closure, allowing you to divide your travel essentials in each pouch. Instead of having your makeup tools in one bag and your skincare items in another, you can have all your necessities in one compact organizer, creating more space in your suitcase.
Each pouch is removable as well, catering to the number of items you want to pack in the organizer and allowing you to grab individual pouches you’ll need when you’re on the go. In addition, the handles allow you to hang the bag on a hook or handle to eliminate countertop clutter.
Once I received the travel organizer in the mail, I put it to the test. I placed my skincare products, toiletries, and makeup into each compartment to assess the effectiveness of the storage kit. Because the products for my skin are full-sized, I had less room to add additional products into one pouch, but my makeup and toiletries fit seamlessly into the remaining compartments.
My experience aligns with that of other reviewers, who similarly noted that the organizer is best used with travel-size items. In other words, if you prefer to tote around full-sized shampoo and conditioner bottles, this kit is probably not for you. Still, while I could not pack all my travel essentials into the organizer due to my full-size skincare products, I did minimize the amount of toiletry bags I’d typically use on vacation.
And when you’re not using the organizer, you can roll it up into a bag as shown in the picture above. The classic, neutral gray fabric adds a stylish touch and the handles make it easy to carry the bag around as needed. What more could you ask for in a travel organizer?

“This product is going to be a lifesaver for saving space and keeping products separated so they don’t get all over each other and make a sticky mess. The pouches won’t fit a full sized shampoo bottle or anything, but you can see that I managed to squeeze in a rather large perfume bottle (gold and white). I was a little disappointed that the interior color is beige, but it’s pretty clear in every picture but the first one, so that’s on me for not realizing it.
