F1 have ignored calls from fans to axe one of their regular pundits for the 2025 season after complaints over their support for US President . The broadcaster has shaken up its team for the new campaign following .

However, viewer discontent has centred around Sky’s use of Danica Patrick, who in 2008 became the only female to win an IndyCar Series race.
The 42-year-old hasn’t held back in her support of the divisive Trump. During his election campaign in America, she publicly endorsed the 78-year-old Republic and argued he was the better option for the American people than the Democratic candidate .
“It feels like voting for is like the vote of reason,” she said. “There is definitely a difference between the way that men and women vote, and I think maybe one of the reasons why women are having a harder time with the vote is just his personality.

Patrick, 42, is considered the most successful woman in American open-wheel car racing history. She first worked for Sky Sports F1 at the 2021 United States Grand Prix and has commentated for CBS on the NASCAR Cup Series.
The Wisconsin-born driver was also a pundit on the Formula 1: Drive to Survive series in 2024. The 2025 F1 calendar consists of three races in her home country with Grand Prix events in Miami, Austin, and Las Vegas.
