F1 icon issues Hamilton statement

F1 icon David Coulthard has insisted wasn’t settled with his car at and has described the situation as “worrying”.

“Now, that’s either because he had racing driver fatigue, he’s been doing it for so long that he needed that change.

“There are so many things to be excited about that I think that we just can’t write the final chapter.”

Red Bull tease Max Verstappen exit

advisor Helmut Marko has teased an exit for after admitting the Dutchman’s contract may not be enough to keep him with the team. Verstappen is contracted to until the end of 2028 after penning fresh terms in 2022.

But Marko told Auto Motor und Sport: “It is no secret that Max’s contract contains performance clauses. Max wants to win and he wants to feel that we are doing everything we can to achieve that.

“That is a challenge for us. If he does not feel that everything is being done to give him the best possible car, then there is a risk – contract or no contract – that he might change his mind.”
