Viewers were up in arms over a buyer’s “shameless” offer on the latest episode of .

Fans witnessed presenter Lee Juggurnauth struggle to satisfy Steve and Heather, from County Londonderry, seeking a new life in Valencia, Spain.

The dog lovers set their sights high with a £240,000 budget for a two- to three-bedroom abode, ample outdoor space for their pets, and an annexe for visiting family.

Their search was far from smooth sailing as the duo instantly rejected Lee’s initial proposition within moments. Both Steve and Heather promptly “wrote off” the first house, much to Lee’s dismay.

The moment Heather spotted the first house, she blurted out: “Too small,” while Lee endeavoured to get them to see any upsides of the freshly renovated property.

Attempting to rationalise their need for size, Heather mentioned: “We’ve got a very big family.” But even the allure of an outdoor pool did little to pique her interest – shooting down the prospect, she confirmed: “No it’s too small for us.”

In an effort to ratchet up the appeal with his second suggestion, Lee introduced the pair to a larger detached bungalow featuring four bedrooms, two bathrooms and its own swimming pool. This time, Heather warmed up to a home that had “more or less everything we want”.

Lee crossed his fingers for continued success with his third property, promising the most expansive outdoor area yet, alongside a generous open-plan dining and living space suitable for their eighteen grandchildren’s visits, reports .

Heather admitted this choice was “at the top of the pecking order”, providing Lee with a welcomed sense of having “nailed it”.

However, the couple’s search didn’t end there, as they fell for the charms of the fourth property, describing it as “absolutely stunning” and boasting an annexe, five bedrooms, four bathrooms, and an outdoor pool.

In stark contrast, the fifth house left Steve feeling “reluctant” and the couple didn’t even want to view the rest of it, leaving Lee perplexed.

Ultimately, Heather and Steve decided to make an offer on their preferred property, the fourth one, which had an asking price of £237,000. However, they opted to take a risk and offer a significantly lower £195,000, citing the need for extensive renovations.

Lee remarked on the “very low” offer, and viewers echoed this sentiment online, with one calling it “shameless”, another saying: “2nd hand embarrassment for the 195k offer” and a third bluntly saying: “195k?”

Following a protracted negotiation, the seller proposed a compromise of £229,000, but Steve and Heather deemed this too steep and countered with a final offer of £225,000.
