The widow of a man is suing a Las Vegas hotel after her husband was found dead inside a room from a drug overdose — after he was robbed by a sex worker.
The 55-year-old had travelled from their Colorado home to Las Vegas for a work conference, where he met sex worker Cheylee Kessee at the hotel bar in the early morning hours of March 1 that year, according to court documents filed last month.
Kessee was working with a pimp named Kashon Glass, who was seen walking around the resort’s casino floor with Jacoby for 40 minutes before the two headed to a cashier’s cage where the father of three withdrew $1,000.
Jacoby and Kessee were then seen going up to his hotel room, with the sex worker emerging just eight minutes later.
The lawsuit alleges that Kessee was in contact with Glass via text the entire time.
Jacoby’s wife called the hotel to request a welfare check on her husband after he failed to reply to her texts.
Hotel staff found Jacoby “unresponsive, slumped on the bathroom floor,” the complaint said.

Glass and Kessee were later charged with multiple crimes, including murder, after being accused of giving Jacoby a lethal dose of fentanyl.
The pair eventually pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter, robbery with use of a deadly weapon and burglary in relation to the case, according to court records.
Kessee is serving a 20-year sentence and will be eligible for parole after eight years, while Glass is behind bars for 50 years and will be up for parole after 20.
Jennifer and her three daughters have now sued the Palazzo’s owners, Venetian Casino Resort LLC, claiming they are partly to blame for Jeff’s death.
The lawsuit alleges that Palazzo security guards should have warned Jeff that he was being followed by Glass while chatting with Kessee.
They allege that casino operators were aware of Kessee and Glass, who had a history of “targeting hotel guests to rob and victimize them.”
The suit does not specify how much in damages they are seeking from the hotel.
