A children’s toy designed to encourage sensory play has been recalled over fears it could pose a choking hazard. ASDA is recalling one batch of the Hapello Sensory Roller, which was sold from August 2023 to March 2025.

A notice shared on the retailer’s website said: “We have found that in a small number of cases, batch #36 of Hapello may pose a risk of choking due to the potential release of a small piece of plastic lodged in the toy in the manufacturing process. If you have purchased the Hapello Sensory Roller – barcode 5063089161708 – batch code #36 – please stop using it immediately and bring it back to your nearest store where you will be given a full refund.
