Visitors will have until 2:30pm today to have their pictures taken for the Style Wednesday fashion awards, where a panel of judges including ex-model Rosie Tapner, Vanity Fair royal correspondent Katie Nicholl, and Racing TV’s Frankie Foster, decide a winner.
Ladies Day underwent a rebranding to Style Wednesday in 2024, with hopes it would make the races more “accessible” and “inclusive”, no longer requiring jackets or ties, while jeans and trainers were added to the dress code.
The second day of racing got off to a cold start as Prestbury Park was covered in a dusting of snow.

Clerk of the course Jon Pullin says the ground conditions remain “good to soft” as the snow was expected to clear by mid-morning.

Around 70,000 people are expected to descend on the course to watch the Gold Cup as the festival comes to an end on Friday 14 March.

Cheltenham Festival stopped advertising the second day as being for ladies in 2018, with Style Wednesday marking a move towards more inclusive fashion.
