Seth Meyers Burns Trump On Women’s Month And Economy, And They’re Kinda Related

Seth Meyers spanked Donald Trump on Tuesday with a couple of one-liners that involved money. (Watch the video below.)

The “Late Night” host brought up the subject du jour, market volatility sparked by Trump’s tariff gamesmanship. He quoted Trump as saying, “What I have to do is build a strong economy.”

“Cool,” Meyers said. “Whenever you’re ready.”

(The talk show host appeared to reference a comment in which Trump said “build a strong country,” but it still works.)

The former “SNL” star continued his monologue by noting that when Trump signed a proclamation declaring March to be Women’s History Month last week, he said: “Women have done a lot for us.”

“In fact, they do so much, you have to pay them $130,000 in hush money,” Meyers snarked.

Trump was found guilty of trying to cover up his cash-for-silence payment to porn star Stormy Daniels ― a low-level felony for which he essentially didn’t receive punishment at his sentencing in January.
