The last thing Aaron Goodwin thought would haunt him was his life partner.
The wife of the ‘Ghost Adventures’ star was arrested last week and accused of a murder-for-hire plot.
Cops allege she tried to hire a hitman to kill her 48-year-old husband.
The celebrity news outlet obtained the arrest report which alleges Goodwin’s wife sent text messages to an inmate in Florida last October about getting out of her marriage.
“Am I a bad person? Because I chose to end his existence. Not divorce,” she asked the inmate, according to the court filing.
Authorities also said she provided the inmate information about Goodwin’s location and the time of day he was filming the show in California.
It’s alleged that she had $11,515 set aside to pay the alleged hitman the Florida prisoner was in contact with as well as other messages about a $2,500 upfront payment.

“He’s asleep right now in the hotel room … I need to know what’s going on. Can I get an update. Was it done?” she allegedly texted the inmate.
Police only found out about the alleged murder plot after Florida corrections officers found and seized a smuggled cellphone from the inmate.
TMZ reports that Goodwin’s wife denied the accusation and explained that she was daydreaming or fantasizing about life without him.
Cops were told that she didn’t remember sending the messages and that she didn’t want him murdered.
When told of the messages pertaining to money, she claimed that it was her belief that it was for cellphones. She also mentioned that they were going through problems with their relationship.
“Cuddle puddle with my boys,” she captioned the snap on Feb. 27.
“I love u (sic) so much,” Goodwin wrote in response.
Goodwin has not publicly commented about the charges his wife is facing.
The couple were married in August 2022 at Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion in Anaheim, Calif.
Goodwin told TMZ that he was blindsided by the allegations and is devastated by the news, believing that he was in a happy marriage.
Goodwin’s wife is being held on $100,000 bail. She is set to make a court appearance on March 26.
