and legend Iwan Thomas has shared a sad family update as his 5-year-old son Teddy was rushed to hospital. The 51-year-old dad of three shared images of the young child following his surgery on a broken arm as he praised his son for his “resiliance and courage”. He said: “We are so immensely proud of Teddy. He has been through so much in his life already and now a broken arm that required surgery but yet he doesn’t moan at all, just gets on with it and shows nothing but kindness and love to others.
“We can all learn so much from kids, their resilience and courage humbles me daily. Thank you Teddy for teaching me so much and making me want to be a better person…. Thanks for all the kind messages of support,” he signed off followed by a blue heart emoji. Fans flooded the comments with messages of support for the youngster. TV presenter Jenni Falconer commented: “Sending lots of love and hope your handsome boy is on the mend and at home very soon.”

This Morning presenter also sent well wises writing: “Ahh Teddy big love big man!! You’ll be back smashing it in no time.
A fan added: “Wishing Teddy a speedy recovery and yes, we can certainly learn a great deal from children.” “Little man is doing a good job. These breaks will make him stronger mentally and physically. At least you know he can cope in these moments. It’s tough for the parents watching him go through it,” another wrote.
A third fan chimed in: “Oh bless him, my youngest who is now 22 has the Sam break when she was 2. She has been great since. Wishing teddy well in his recovery xx.”
Meanwhile a fourth fan gushed: “Get well soon Teddy you are an inspiration what a beautiful family you are.”

Iwan was paired with Ola Jordan on ‘s 2015 where he was the first celebrity to be eliminated from the show.
Teddy was born three years later in 2018 and was rushed to intensive care just hours after being born as he struggled to breathe just hours after being born.
it transpired he was born with a common bacterial infection called Group B Streptococcus, commonly known as Group B Strep. He made a full recovery after spending his first ten days in hospital battling the infection.
Iwan also shares two other sons, Dougie, three, and one-year-old Bowie with wife Anna.
