Savannah Guthrie’s kids designed her 2nd tattoo. See the final product

Savannah Guthrie’s children inspired her latest tattoo.

While appearing on “The Drew Barrymore Show,” the TODAY anchor said she got some new ink to celebrate the publication of her children’s book, “Mostly What God Does Is Love You.”

Savannah shared the results, and the tattoo’s backstory, with her TODAY colleagues on air on March 11.

“(Drew) said, ‘Do you want to get tattoos?’ I said, ‘Sure!’ And then we did it,” she explained.

Savannah went on to say her children — Charley, 8, and Vale, 10 — helped design the artwork, which features two tiny hearts.

“I just want to say my little boy did one of the hearts and Vale did the other,” she said.

“It’s so great. Really pretty,” Jenna Bush Hager said.

“Aww,” Dylan Dreyer marveled.

“I’m done (getting tattoos) though. I quit,” Savannah said.

This is the second time Savannah and Barrymore have gotten a tattoo together. The pals solidified their friendship in 2023 by getting tattoos on their arms. Savannah got the words “all my love” written in her dad’s handwriting.

“This is an exact carbon copy of my father’s handwriting,” she said at the time. “‘All my love.’ He wrote a love letter to my mom and this is his writing. And, so that’s the first time in my life, I’m 51 years old, that I’ve had a tattoo, that I ever wanted a tattoo. And it’s not only his writing, so he’s with me, but I’m trying to make it my mantra for life.”

Jenna, who is close friends with Savannah and the godmother to her daughter Vale, played jealous after hearing that she got a second tattoo with Barrymore.

“I just got another piercing with Scarlett Johansson,” she said, then pretended to call the actor.

Johansson recently co-hosted “TODAY with Jenna & Friends” andgot an ear piercing with Jenna on air.
