Beloved journalist and star Ana Foster has announced she has left her position as presenter of News at One for a huge new role with the flagship company. Her role on the lunchtime news show came after various stints hosting the News at Six and the News at Ten.
But she is now turning her back on the TV news bulletins in order to become a leading presenter on Radio 4’s long-running flagship programme, Today. From April, Anna will be in the roster of main presenter on the show which broadcasts to millions of listeners every morning. She will undertake her hosting duties from both their London and Salford base at MediaCityUK.

Sharing the exciting new about her new role, she said in a statement: “There are few more exciting opportunities for a journalist than presenting Today, and I’m thrilled to be joining the team. I’ve always loved making important, agenda-setting engaging radio, and there’s nowhere better to do that.
“It’s such a beloved programme to so many people, and I can’t wait to be a part of it.” Owenna Griffiths, the Editor of the Today programme, added of Anna’s appointment: “Anna is an exceptional broadcaster and tenacious journalist. She’s already a really familiar and popular voice for so many listeners from her years presenting on 5 Live and reporting from the Middle East. I’m thrilled she’s going to join us at Today.”
