A commentator has raised concerns about the wellbeing of Prince Harry, after noting how little he features in ’s programme. The Times columnist Shane Watson noted how Harry, 40, looks “diminished” during his fleeting appearance in his wife Meghan’s ‘With Love, Meghan’ show, which forms part of her multi-faceted foray into the world of lifestyle content.

Shane commented on how this isn’t a one-off and how, apart from the Invictus Games, Harry has the lesser of the two Sussexes when it comes to making headlines for his own projects.

Her comments have once again thrown spotlight on Harry, who some fear that having been the ‘Spare’ to his brother in one family, is also becoming the spare in another due to Meghan’s career.

Shane remarked: “The second series of With Love, Meghan has just been confirmed and like it or hate it there is no denying that Meghan’s whole life has been working towards this point. Harry is already looking like a spare part in her new incarnation as a lifestyle icon.

“Blink and you’ll miss him. Not only that, he’s wedged at the back of the crowd of well-wishers at her signing off party…He seems diminished, unsure of what’s expected of him.”

Whilst Harry may not be the focus in Meghan’s series, this does not mean the Duke of Sussex has been idle, as he continues to support survivors of the devastating LA wildfires that tore through the region at the start of the year.

reported that he was seen speaking with emergency workers who battled the flames at an event in Santa Barbara, California.

What’s more, he was praised by critics following an idea he had at the closing of the Invictus Games.

The ceremony, which also marked the official transition of the event to Birmingham in 2027, featured the former Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau, who was warm in his comments about Harry.

He said: “To the Duke of Sussex, , without whom these Invictus Games would never have happened. You are the one who turned this incredible idea into a reality. As someone you roped in early in my time as Prime Minister, I can testify to the energy, the dedication, the commitment this man has to you and to this ideal.”

What’s more, despite an almost daily barrage of criticism, Harry and Meghan have been celebrated in some corners for their collective support of those affected by the aforementioned LA wildfires.

Founder of the World Central Kitchen, Jose Andres, said the pair deserved a more positive reception given their behaviour, reported . He said: I know they are in the spotlight – not in America, but in Britain – and what I can tell you from what I know is that they don’t have to, but they decide to do it.

“You feel like it’s better that nobody does anything because nobody criticises you for showing up, but the amazing thing is that they show up.”
